Jeffrey A. Kaplan
Jeffrey A. Kaplan is the founding partner of J. Kaplan & Associates, PLLC, and has more than 20 years of experience litigating in New York State and Federal Courts at the trial and appellate levels. Jeff spent 12 of those years as a founding partner of a highly successful Litigation and Real Estate Firm, where he successfully represented many well-known New York businesses and personalities, and tenaciously pursued and protected millions of dollars of client assets in matrimonial matters.
As founder of J. Kaplan & Associates, Jeff leads the firm both in the courtroom and in delivering client-centered, results-driven service to the firm’s clients. Jeff has extensive experience representing clients in a variety of areas including divorce, matrimonial and family law matters, complex litigation matters involving commercial, corporate, contract, real estate, landlord-tenant, employment and criminal defense matters, as well as personal injury, and medical malpractice claims.
Jeff spends considerable time in court, where he has extensive experience successfully representing the firm’s clients at hearings and trial. In addition, Jeff has vast experience is helping his clients arrive at favorable settlements where trial can be avoided.
Jeff is an active member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the New York City Bar Association.
